One should dress for an interview in a professional and appropriate manner. First impressions are very important in an interview and you want to give people the impression that you are responsible and well kept. Wearing clean clothing is probably the most important thing followed by a close shave if your a male, and covering of all tattoos. Typically I would show up to an interview in the same attire that i would be expected to attend work in.

Dress can be a distraction for an interviewer once it starts to take away from the things you have to say and contribute. This can happen in a multitude of ways, including a weird haircut or offensive t-shrt. The interviewer wants someone that is going to project a positive image for his or her and that is hard to do if you don’t look the part.

Further communication is crucial for a good interview. Dressing well alone is not going to get you the job, although it will certainly help. If you continue to build upon a the initial positive first impression of your imagine, you can then begin to confirm the interviewers thoughts with good interview skills. Looking professional should give you a better opportunity to present your ideas in a effective manner.

Yes it is possible to over dress for a job interview. For example if you were interviewing for a blue collar job like a construction worker and you showed up to the interview with a 2 thousand dollar suit on, you would be very inappropriately dressed. I typically thing it is a better idea to over dress then under dress, however neither is going to help you in the interview.

group work

today we worked on are you tube project. one of are group members did not show up, however we still had a very productive day and got it all done

my test

my test went bapck a page while i was takeing it, and then would not let me open it back up. i had not even writen anything yet. i apear to be just diging myself a bigger and bigger whole. This is awful having my hopes and future depend on a computer, I am a senior and need these marks to get to grad school. I am stressed out.

I went to the personal finance seminar and really enjoyed myself. I learnt a lot in this seminar about compound interest. I learnt how important it is to save up money and invest it. I am looking forward to part two of this seminar so I can take it to the next level.

What the class has to offer

This class has a lot to offer for me and can help me discover my strengths when related to business, and my personal development. I am really hoping to learn a lot about owning a business and being a good employee. I think that if this class helps me learn some of my strengths and weaknesses I can get a better idea of what specific business field I want to go in to.
